About Me
Hello, I’m Helen and I’m 47 years old.
At life’s halfway point, I thought I’d be on the board of a company, married with kids, living in a big house. I had a high-flying career. Built global programmes. Changed lives. But quietly, I was falling apart. I loved my job.
But I didn’t love myself.
Then, emergency brain surgery. A moment that could have broken me, saved me. It gave me the most unexpected gift: the chance to start again.
I turned inward. Healed my thoughts, my beliefs, my broken heart. I quit. Retrained and rebuilt. Fell in love with myself. Had a miracle baby. Bought the big house by myself.
And somewhere in all that, I gave birth Experience Carnival (Link to Experience Carnival site), a unicorn of a business based in Rio de Janeiro that provides people with the platform to unleash their spirit in the greatest celebration on earth and Complete Confidence, my life’s work, and a love letter to every woman who’s ready to remember who she is.
From Rio to Reiki. From breakdown to rebirth. From control to complete confidence. I’ve learned this: Confidence isn’t something you build; it's something you cultivate. It’s something you remember. It’s the feeling that lives in your being. The fire that moves through your hips. The knowing that you are already whole.

What’s the time commitment?
The whole journey spans six months — from October to March — with a rhythm that blends structure and spaciousness.
You’ll receive monthly 1:1 coaching sessions, group sharing calls, and immersive experiences.
It’s designed to complement your real life, not overwhelm it.
Can I join if I’m not ready for Rio?
I see you. Fill in the application, and then we can discuss it on a 1:1 call.
I’ve done coaching before — how is this different?
This isn’t just coaching.
It’s coaching, hypnotherapy, somatic activation, nervous system healing, and sisterhood — all woven into one transformational arc.
Most coaching works on the mind.

Miss Fallon Dee, an iconic figure in the Burlesque world and a passionate advocate for the divine power within every woman. She’s a dedicated teacher and champion for female empowerment, encouraging women to embrace their bodies, feel confident, and celebrate their feminine form. Fallon’s performances are more than just entertainment; they’re an invigorating energy exchange that empowers women to unlock their inner strength and beauty.
Liani Devito
Liani Devito is a Brazilian-born, UK-based, passionate powerhouse bringing female empowerment and leadership to the world of Samba. She’s a renowned global samba teacher and performer and the resident Brazilian samba teacher at Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden. Liani founded Samba de Rainha (Samba of the Queen) in 2018, a vibrant community for women to connect, support each other, and improve their confidence and self-esteem. This year, she became one of a handful of female samba school presidents when she founded Imperio de Rainha. This is alongside her career as a PhD genetic scientist at the Francis Crick Institute.
Egili Oliveria
Egili Oliveira is an actress and Afro-samba teacher. She’s an entrepreneur, cultural producer, and famous Rio Carnival performer for several leading schools, including being the Queen of the Drums for Vigário Geral for five years. Egili is the only queen to have her career documented in a film. She is the star of the film “Egili, Rainha retina do carnaval,” which discusses racism and the difficulties of a dark-skinned black woman gaining visibility within the country’s largest cultural event.
